Guide

Your emergency folder.
Always at hand.

In an emergency, what matters is having important information at hand quickly. For you and for the people who matter to you.

What goes in the emergency folder.

  • Your emergency plan Meeting points, who picks up whom and who calls whom.
  • Phone list Family, neighbours, your doctor’s practice, work, school or nursery.
  • Health Medication plan, allergies and vaccination record, for you and everyone you look after.
  • Powers of attorney and directives For example a lasting power of attorney and an advance healthcare directive.
  • Copies of important documents ID, insurance policies, contracts and certificates.

Your logins for websites and apps are best kept in anynear’s passwords. They only open with your fingerprint, face or phone PIN.

On paper and on your phone.

The BBK recommends keeping important documents at hand and storing copies in a different place. A paper folder helps when no phone has power left. The copy on your phone helps when you are not at home.

How it works with anynear

A shared folder in three steps.

01

Create a circle

Invite the people who belong together in an emergency. An invitation link is all it takes.

02

Add to storage

Emergency plan, phone list and copies. Everyone in the circle sees the circle’s storage; only you see your own.

03

Keep it at hand

Everything is stored encrypted on your phones, readable without internet, and also spread across several locations in Europe.
