Your own channels
Your devices at home, such as a water sensor or the camera at your garden gate, send alerts to your channel. You get them on all your devices.
Alerts
Under “Alerts”, anynear collects notices and alarms in channels: from your devices at home, from your circle and from the authorities. Separate from your conversations, so nothing gets lost.

Three kinds of channels
Your devices at home, such as a water sensor or the camera at your garden gate, send alerts to your channel. You get them on all your devices.
Share a channel with your family through an invitation link. Everyone gets the alerts, but they can’t see each other.
Official warnings for your area from Germany’s NINA warning system. The app works out your area from your approximate location, which never leaves your phone.
How urgent?
Like a normal notification.
Stands out and stays at the top of the list. For official alerts this level is called “Warning”.
Sounds with its own clear tone so you don’t miss it.
Alerts can expire or be called off. Then you see at a glance what still applies.
Alerts are encrypted like everything in anynear. The locations in Europe pass them on but cannot read them. Anyone who subscribes to a shared channel stays invisible to the others.
Alerts are new and part of the beta. Official warnings in anynear add to the official warning apps and sirens; they do not replace them.
